Translippers - Herbalism (artwork)

Microcosmos presents the debut album of Translippers, “Herbalism”. This tincture of magic herbs will take you on a trip around the world in one hour.

The perfectly mixed dub rhythm will relax your body while the atmospheric electronica will inspire you. Prepare yourself to discover the entrancing blend of cultures through distinct flavors of Scandinavian and African drums, ethno-jazz vocals, chants of Miao from China and Chukchi from Yakutsk, Eastern and Latin American percussions, Indian sitar and Arabic oud, guitar, and harmonica.

Translippers is a project of Arthur Mustafin, a composer and music performer from Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 1984 he gained experience playing in jazz and rock-n-roll bands, but this changed with his trip to India where he seriously got into ethnical instruments. This led Arthur to incorporating these instruments into his own production which significantly transformed his sound.

As said by the author himself, this album is an intricate attempt to return to childhood.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the deep flavor of “Herbalism”.
